Carole Urban

Classic Rock

Originally from Black Rock, CT. started playing guitar at age 7.  If you're buying she prefers Heineken's or Corona's.

Started her first band, at age 16 an all girl cross between the then newly formed Go-Go's and Pat Benatar.  From there she's been in wedding bands, theater orchestras, bar bands, duo's and solo's, and best of all part of the DOD Overseas Shows that toured, Italy, Hungary, Bosnia and Croatia.  During this period she acquired the skills of calculating the cubic feet of a guitar, what shoes to wear with a helmet and flak vest

She released her first all original CD "Scraps" in 2000, featured on juke boxes in her favorite Connecticut watering holes.

Currently after years of playing with different bands, Carole's bread and butter is her (killer) solo.  She also has a duo and about once a month you might catch her playing under her band name "On The Rocks" with area talent such as Roy Rodriquez, Jim Oblon (John Abercrombie), Joe Sullivan, Frank Lombardi (Dickey Betts), Keith Richard, Mark Templeton (arranger for Hall and Oate's and Carly Simon), Mike Nunno, Greg Borino or husband Gary Ciuci (Wilson Pickett, Chambers Brother's).

Carole lives in Stratford CT. Occasionally DJ's on the side, but would rather be playing classic rock, blues, jazz, 70's disco, or top 40 on her pink paisley strat, les paul or tele.  Influences?  Pretty much everything.
